Oversea Raya Aidilfitri

Assalammualaikum readers...

Many things had been going on and so many exciting parts that we would like to share about our oversea Raya, and I don't even know where to start first..! Haha..Well,let's begin with the preparation.Since we're in Japan, nothing much can be done and we need to cook most of the cuisine by ourselves as it is impossible to get rendang or ketupat or lemang here.Khairi made some cookies and cakes, and I cooked the rest like rendang and nasi daging rempah.Listening to Raya's songs making us remembering our family and friends at Malaysia, longing to celebrate Raya with our loved ones.

Moving on to our first day of Raya, everyone was getting busy even from early in the morning.Since it's summer here now, the sun rises much more earlier than Malaysia.Dressed up in the new brand Raya clothes, everyone look stunning in various colours of Baju Kurung. After performing the Raya prayer,we had our Raya feast ready and enjoy the cuisine that we'd prepared. This year Raya's rendang was my first try,but I was satisfied with the texture and the taste.Hihi ^^ .All the cookies, kerepek and not to mention cakes, are the best when enjoyed with the fresh iced orange juice. After feeling full, we had a walk around the castle's park for Raya photoshot. Haha.. As our theme this year was green, the greenery scenery was perfect as the background for our pictures. The view was so beautiful and magnificent, and we had a great time wandering around the big park .Then we had calls from family and exchanging pictures of Raya. After the epic moment, here comes the sad one. We had classes even though it's raya..!!  T_T.. we got changed then and continued the rest day with studies..~

On the second day,we had a fabulous time around Fukuoka,Japan as we had no classes at all on Thursday.Yiipppeeee..!! First,we had yummy breakfast at the Mister Donut(saga eki) before departing to Fukuoka by bus.We enjoyed donuts(strawberry, chocolate and honey flavour),soba noodles with vegetables broth and glasses of orange juice. Around 9a.m.we hop on the bus to Fukuoka and arrived at the Tenjin around 10.20a.m. We headed straight to Fukuoka Zoo for an exciting adventure. There were so many things to see and explore there. If you're planning to have a great adventure around Fukuoka,we recommend you to have a visit to this zoo.Trust me,it's worth it..! With only 600yen(per person)you can learn and experience so many things, enjoying the whole nature with ease whether with family or friends. The park around there was clean and environmental friendly. The zoo are divided into two large part, first part for the animals and the second part is for the botanical garden .We enjoyed both of the part so much and we're satisfied with the whole journey. After touring the whole zoo,we had our lunch at the Hyder(halal Bangladesh cuisine restaurant). It's quite hard to find it as the location is far from the main road.At 2400 yen,we had Curry Shrimp Rice and Curry Chicken Rice with salads, and milk tea for deserts. Then we move on to Ohori kouen(Ohori park) for a short walk after the delicious feast. The breeze was so cool and relaxing on that day. After having enough fun, we then headed back to Saga before night.

I had an excellent day with my Japanese friends on the third day of Raya. We had a small party together celebrating Raya at my apartment after 流体class.I'd prepared some Malay cuisine like Rendang Daging Mertua,Nasi Daging Rempah and some curry noodles. The Rendang and curry were cooked with mild hot as they can't eat hot ans spicy dishes. We had a great time chit chatting,me telling the girls about celebrations in Malaysia, and touring around my apartment. After all of us feeling full, we had a 'wefie' together with crazy posses. Then we headed to class,AGAIN..! -_- After class, we end our day with a yummy dinner at the Hamazushi, enjoying the fresh and juicy sushi of Japan.
