Celebrating Raya at Fukuoka Zoo (Part two)

Assalammualaikum ya'lls..

Last week's Thursday we had a great time celebrating the Raya Aidilfitri at the Fukuoka Zoo. There are so many things to see and learn there even for an adult..! Here's the post for the animal kingdom at the Fukuoka Zoo: HERE. As for part two, I'm going to share about the lovely Botanical Garden there.

There's no extra charge for the entrance to the Botanical Garden and yup, also no charge for the slope car...! You can just happily ride the slope car back and forth to the Animal Kingdom and Botanical Garden *yipppeee* p/s:there's an air conditioner in the slope car which is soooo great during summer..! Trust me you will not regret at all.. I mean zero regret for visiting the Botanical Garden here. The flower's colour and scent, the buzzing sounds of bees and insects, pouring from waterfalls and enormous giant plus rare species of flora, all can be seen and enjoyed here. What's more interesting is the Botanical Garden are divided into several parts like seasonal plants (Natsu,Aki,Fuyu, and Haru),Herbs Garden,Flowerbed and Rose Garden(which is so romantic) ,Fukuoka City Greenhouse(which is super great!),Demonstration Garden,Wild Grass Garden,Cherry Tree Lane and many more..! So exciting and fun having a walk around learning new things there.Thre's even rest room, observatory room, cafes and tea lounge there.Just have fun and enjoy your leisure around the nature.

The environment was so great and we love how the cleanliness is perfectly good there. It's hardly to find rubbish or litter around the floor or ground and everything we need as a visitor can be reached easily. There are lots of huts and tables with chairs provided to have a rest, vending machines selling cold and hot drinks, rubbish bins for littering, and directions in both Japanese and English. The scenery are so beautiful and magnificent, very worth it for a great picture. So many rare species of plants there to see and touch and we love the most is the giant cactus.. very epic.!!

There's also a self booth camera for visitors to take pictures in group, observation rooms with different temperature(example like flowers for winter are kept in a low tempt room while plants for desert[Victoria Amazonica] are kept in a hot tempt room),places for picnic(especially for Hanami) and etc. There's even a little shop selling souvenirs and plants to bring back.Basically, we're so satisfied with the journey around there even though it was sunny on that day, who cares of sunburn if you're having a great time like princess around the bed of roses^^.

There's even a childrens sketch display(子供スケッチ大会作品展)that will be held among 12th of August till 28th of August. There are many more interesting activities there and can be check out either on the information boards there or from the official website:Here.Have a great time there enjoying the nature folks..! :) Ahhh.. nother thing, to hop on bus to get back to Yakuin Odori, just hop on bus 56 or 58 at 190yen per person. To get to bus stop walk straight from the entrance, cross the traffic light to tge other side and turn left. There's a little bus stop there:)

That's all for this post.Read the part one:HERE
